ANSWERS To the Above Questions
A. How AnytimeCE works.
I have never taken an on-line course before. Basically, how does it work?
AnytimeCE has a NEW STUDENT WALK THROUGH to show you step by step how easily it is to take on-line training with AnytimeCE.
On the home page, go to the top left side of the page and Click on NEW STUDENT WALK THROUGH.
Top of the page
What types of courses does AnytimeCE offer? There are two basic types of classes.
The first is a "Graphical" or "Visual" course, chapter by chapter on a subject. At the end of each chapter is a chapter quiz. This course is along the lines of a traditional instructional course.
The second is a downloadable, "Look up it up in the Code Book" type course. In this course, you download and print the course questions, look up the answers in your code book marking the correct answers on your downloaded quiz. When you finish answering the questions, log back in and take the quiz. This course is geared to get someone really into the code book and practice how to use it to look up Code questions and answers.

What is the cost of the course? Typically a single course is $59.50, but may vary from state to state. Be sure to check on the economy packages, where you can get a discount on the course price when you purchase several courses bundled together. In many cases you can purchase 4 courses for the price of 3. You will find that our price structure is very competitive, especially when compared to a live seminar.
MOST IMPORTANTLY, you determine the times that you want to take these courses. There is no lost time or expense traveling to a Saturday class on your day off.
These courses have worked very well for many students and will work well for you too!
Top of the page
How long, time- wise, does it take for a class? The course material presented in these classes cover the equivalent material that would be covered in a live seminar or class. That being said, a 4 hour course will typically take 2 to 6 hours. This range of time is based on the background of the student and if the student has downloaded the study guides prior to taking the course. Of course, if a student is trying to watch "The Simpsons" out of the corner of his eye, it will take longer to complete the training.

I am taking this course to meet my required continuing education requirements. How do I know that this course is accepted by the licensing agency? In the course description dialog box for each course, the licensing agency's course identifying number, expiration date and number of continuing education hours permitted is shown.
Top of the page
How and when is the licensing agency contacted once I finish the course?
AnytimeCE has automated the reporting of completed courses with the following schedule.
WASHINGTON: WA. Plumbing Section is e-mailed all Plumber class rosters at the end of every business day.WA. Electrical Section is e-mailed all Electricial class rosters on Monday of each week.
OREGON: The Building Codes dvision is e-mailed all completed course information the following business day.
MONTANA: Plumber and Electrician class rosters are uploaded to the Montana Department of Labor and Industry on Monday of each week.
ALABAMA: Class rosters are e-mailed to the Alabama Board of Air Conditioning at the end of every business day.
In unlikely event that a student used an incorrect license number, the student's CEU information is not uploaded by the AHJ. If this has happened, AnytimeCE contracts with a 3rd party to correct and upload corrected continuing education rosters to the AHJ. AnytimeCE is billed a $25 SERVICE CHARGE which is passed on to the student. If you have used an incorrect license number, be sure when you take courses from AnytimeCE in the future, that you register as new student and use your correct license number.

How do show that I have completed the course? When you have completed a course, login again. Your status page will appear. On the course that you have just completed, you will see a link which reads: "Click Here to Download your Completion Certificate" Click on this link and pop box will appear which allows you to download your Certificate of Completion.
The is your copy for your records showing that you have completed the course. However, most AHJ require that AnytimeCE submit the class rosters directly to them.
Top of the page
Do I have to sit in front of my computer for 4 hours to take the class? NO YOU DON'T. What is really neat about AnytimeCE, is that the computer tracks which page you are on. Let's say that you are taking a course that has 150 pages. You are half finished with a section in the course, and some thing else in life has come up. You exit the program. A few hours, a day or two, or even several weeks pass before you have a chance to log back in. When you log back in, the computer has "remembered" the last page that you visited and brings you back to that page.
This means that YOU are in control of YOUR time.
Top of the page
What about identity theft? We are all concerned about Identify theft. When a student registers for our classes, several key pieces of information that are critical to Identify theft is NOT ASKED. These are your financial information, your Social Security Number and your full birthday. Without this information, you have provided little more than can be found in the white pages of a phone book.
Top of the page
How much continuing education do I need to keep my license current? It is always best to check with each issuing agency to determine exactly what you need to do to comply, but in general terms this is what is needed.
| State | Trade | CE Hours | Expires | Cycle |
| Montana | Plumber | 4 hrs/ year | Sept 1 each year | Annual |
| Oregon | Plumber | 8 hrs/ yr (16/ lic.cycle | April 1st every other year | 3 year |
| Washington | Plumber | 16 hrs every 2 years | On your birthday | 2 year |
| Electrician | 24 hrs every 3 years | On your birthday | 3 year | |
| Alabama | HVAC | 4 hrs every year | Dec 31 | 1 year |
What kind of computer / system requirements, do I need to take the course? Click here to see our system requirements page.

I have a DIAL UP connection for my computer on my phone line, will this work? This will work, but when taking a "Graphical" or "Visual" course, it may seem like FOREVER to download a page to view. The "Look it up in the Code Book" type course does work well. In this type of course, you will download and print a series of code questions, dig into your code book for the answers, log back in and answers these same questions on line.

I have licenses in several states. Can I use the same continuing education class in other states? Each state has their own rules on accepting continuing education from other states. In the course descriptions, we have placed this information at the bottom of the dialog box. AnytimeCE tries to make sure that the information is correct and is up to date, but as you know, things do change.
Some states may automatically reciproicate with the state that you are currently taking your class in. However, standards that each state use may change over time. YOU will need to check with the AHJ in the state that you wish to have dual credit it. AnytimeCE will only warranty that the credit hours are accepted in state that you purchased the course in.
AnytimeCE does not warranty that a couse purchased through one state will be accepted in another state. It is YOUR responsiblity to submitt a copy of YOUR Certificate of Completion to the AHJ in each state that YOU wish additional credit in.
For example, a student has a plumbing licenses in both WA. and in OR. and takes a course through the WA. State Link. If a student wishes to have the WA. Course accepted in Oregon, the STUDENT will need to submit a copy of the WA. Certificate of Completion to Oregon's AHJ.
AnytimeCE has automated the uploading of Certificates of Completion to each AHJ for the state that the course was taken in. If it is required to have AnytimeCE manually upload your CE information to the AHJ, a service fee of $25 is incurred.
In this manner, AnytimeCE has been able to minimzie the cost of this function and pass the savings back to YOU in the form of low cost, quality continuing education.
Top of the page
How often may I log in and out? You may log in/out as many times as needed to finish the course.
Top of the page
What code book or other material is required for the class I'm signing up for? In each course description, we have listed the Code Book and year upon which the course is based. We have also listed any other material that may be needed. In many cases, no additional material other than what is presented in the course, is needed. In fact, in most courses that use the UPC you can download selected areas of the code to your computer.
Top of the page
Can I take more than one class at a time and log in and out on them? We have found that in order to enhance a student's training with us, we suggest that only one class at a time be taken. If you wish to have several classes "going on" at the same time, you may do so.
Top of the page
Now that I have given you my e-mail address, am I going to be spammed? None of us wants unsolicited e-mails. AnytimeCE does not sell your e-mail or other information to 3rd parties as discussed in our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use. However, we may occasionally contact you about vital information concerning AnytimeCE.

I don't have a license in the state that I am seeking continuing education, what should I do? Use your driver license or another state issued I. D. Be sure when you are applying to the Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) that you include a short cover letter explaining what you have done.
AnytimeCE uses an automated system of uploading course information to the AHJ, which allows us to keep our costs low and pass the savings directly back to the student in the form of low cost quality courses.
In a situation where a student uses his driver's license to take the course(s) AnytimeCE will need to manually upload the completed certificate(s) of completion with your corrected or updated license to the AHJ. AnytimeCE contracts with a 3rd party to correct and upload corrected continuing education rosters to the AHJ. AnytimeCE is billed a $25 SERVICE CHARGE which is passed on to the student.
When taking courses from AnytimeCE in the future, be sure that you register as new student and use your correct license number.

A. 24 I have more than one (1) license in a state. Can I get credit for each license that I hold?
It depends on the state, but it is the student's responsibility to check with the AHJ on this matter.
Let's use Washington State for example.
In this example, a student is a licensed electrician, a licensed electrical administrator and also a licensed plumber.
Since the WA. Department of Labor and Industries Electrical Division administers licensed electricians and electrical administrators, the classes that the student took through the electrical "tab" on the WA. State link, would be counted for CEUS for these two (2) electrical licenses.
If the course is approved by the WA. Plumbing Division the student could use this course for his WA. Plumbing CEUs. The student would need to contact AnytimeCE through the Contact Link on the side bar menu and request a License number correction/ change to be sent to the WA. Plumbing Division on the completed course.
AnytimeCE will then forward the course completed information to the WA. Plumbing Division on this matter. As you know, since this upload is not automated it must be done manually. A service charge of $25 will be accessed to the student for this function.

B. Payment for Classes
How do I get a copy of my ID and Password? After a student decides which course to take and starts the registration process, the student will fill out a Student Information form.
You will need to use your AHJ issued license number (Plumber/ Electrician/ HVAC/ NATE, etc.) as their ID.
The student will then create their own password. At the bottom of this form, there is a "Print Button" to print our your completed form. We suggest that you do this for your own records.
After you pay for the course, we send you an Order Confirmation which also contains your ID and Password.
Please enter your correct license number for your ID when you register for a class to assure that you will get your continuing education credit promptly recognized the by AHJ.
If an incorrect license number is entered when you register, AnytimeCE
will need to make a manual correction and upload. AnytimeCE contracts
these manual corrections and uploads to a 3rd party, which in turn bill
AnytimeCE a $25 Service Fee. This fee will passed on to you.
How do I pay for the class? You will need to pay for the course using your credit card. We accept American Express, Master Card, Visa and Discovery.
Top of the page
How do I get a receipt for my purchase? Once your payment is approved, you will be able to print your receipt from the web site. Again, another "Print Button" is provided. We suggest that print your receipt at this time. You will also be sent a receipt for the course, along with your ID and password. Since AnytimeCE uses a secure 3rd party for the transaction, we do not have access to your credit card information to furnish you with an additional receipt. However, some students have used their monthly credit card billing as a receipt to reimbursement from their companies for continuing education.
Top of the page
If I forgot to print my credit card receipt from the web site, how do I get one? You will receive an e-mail from AnytimeCE, the subject line reads “AnytimeCE Log-In information - Open and Print for your records”. This e-mail contains a duplicate receipt for your purchase, which can be downloaded and printed along with your Student ID and Password.
Since AnytimeCE never has access to your credit card or other financial information, we are not able to furnish you with a 3rd copy.
If you did not print either of the receipts, we can not help you at this point.
However, if worst comes to worst, you could use your monthly credit card invoice that you received from your billing company.
Can I use a company credit card or company voucher?
Yes, you can use a company credit just like you would use your personal credit card. Just be sure to enter in the company name as the Last Name on the credit card information page.
Now, if you want to use a company voucher, this is what you will need
to do.
First of all, fill out the STUDENT INFORMATION PAGE that appears after
clicking on the "Register" button found on each course description page.
Print this form.
Next, mail the completed form to AnytimeCE at PO Box 150, Mountlake
Terrace, WA. 98043.
AnytimeCE will process the voucher and when we receive payment, AnytimeCE
will upload the student information into the database.
A service charge for this extra handling is $49.00.
Be sure to include this service charge in addition to the normal fees for the courses when submitting the voucher to us.
I have heard about credit card theft on the internet. I'm reluctant to give my credit card information over the net. How am I going to be protected? We use a service, DigiCert, which is a 3rd party to process credit card information. We pay DigiCert do this, similar to a contractor's bond which you may be familiar with. Anyway, DigiCert operates a ultra secure web site which is well protected from hackers. AnytimeCE never "sees" your credit card information, it is automatically transferred to DigiCert. In this manner, if anyone were to "hack" into our AnytimeCE site, there is no credit card data for them to steal. In this manner you are well protected.
Top of the page
I still don't want to give my credit card information over the internet, is there any other way that I can pay for the class? Yes, you can phone the order in and we can take your credit card data at that point and manually process the order, or you can fill out and print your student information form, send it to us along with a cashier's check, and we can process it. While our efforts are focused on helping make these transactions user friendly and easy on the internet, we do not have at this time a 24/7 phone response to immediately conduct a phone or mail transaction. If you are not in a rush, we can help you in this manner, but for the fastest service we encourage you to do the transaction on the internet.
Top of the page
Before I purchase a class, can I try it out, and find out what it covers? Yes, a number of the courses have a TRY IT button near the top of the description page for the class. We encourage you to click on the "TRY IT" button and take a sample course. This will give you an idea of how our On-line training works. Usually a detailed course outline is shown in the sample course.
Top of the page

One the first page of each course that has downloadable quiz questions, you will find a rectangular square near the center of the page that is a link to the downloadable test questions. We encourage you to download and print these questions and use them for your review when taking the course.
Top of the page
How do I get a copy of the quiz questions? After you finish registering and purchasing a course, you will need to login using your ID and Password. A status page will appear. Near the top of the status page, you will see a link, which says: "NOTE: You can download Selected Study Guides and Quiz Questions by Clicking HERE." Top of the page
Are there any discounts if I buy more than one course? Yes, be sure to check at the top of each tab, Plumber, Electrician or HVAC for Economy Packages that may be available. However, if you purchase an individual course and then decide that you really wanted an Economy Package, we are Not able to switch you the Economy Package at that point.
Top of the page
I would like to save some money and purchase a Package Deal, but I don't need all the continuing education credits now. Can I "bank" unused courses and use them in my next license cycle?
Yes, just make sure of two things.
First:. Don't bank a course that is expiring within a month. That gives you a little wriggle room to finish a course in amble time.
Second: Make sure that you take your banked course(s) ASAP as soon you start your next license cycle.
Of course, you'll need to keep track on when and what courses you have taken. We don't have a tracking method to flag you on a course that you may have banked if you are getting close to the expiration time for the course.
Top of the page
When taking your course, I found some errors. How do I let you know about them? Please let us know on our feed back form which you can fill out after you have completed the course and just prior to downloading your certificate. We want to the best on-line training available and welcome constructive criticism on the course material, spelling and typos. Presently, we employ human beings at AnytimeCE who are subject to errors.
Top of the page
I've started the course and am having trouble answering some of the quiz questions, can you help me answer the quiz questions? Sorry, can't help you with this one. All of information that is needed to answer the quiz questions can be found in the course material.
Top of the page
I mistakenly purchased the wrong course, can you sign me up for the correct one, or can I get a refund? Send us an e-mail with a short explanation and let us know which course that you really needed to take.
If you have not completed the course and it can not be used to meet any of your future continuing educational credits, we will delete that course that you did not need and will post the course that you need at no additional charge to you as a one time courtesy.
If you completed the course and it can not be used in the current license cycle but could be used in a future license cycle, we will reset the course to the first page so you can use it in the next license cycle. As for refunds, since we never see you credit card data, we can not refund your credit card. A substitution is the best we can do. Since AnytimeCE does not operate a 24/7 Help Line, in may take a few days to switch you over to the course that you really needed to take.
Top of the page
I checked on my credit card statement, and you double billed me.
Let's take a moment to give you some background.
Case 1. AnytimeCE has built in to its system a method to prevent
double billing. When a student purchases a course, he must register
using his License number. In some cases, a
student decides not to immediately start the course and then at a later date has forgotten the purchase of the that course.
The student then tries to purchase the same course (a second time) using his license number.
Our computer system shows a warning message that he has previously
purchased the course. The student has the option to return to the Home
page or to reset his account and re-purchase the course.
Case 2. A student uses a second License number, or one with a slight variation of the first one and successfully makes the purchase. When his credit card statement comes through to him, it appears that AnytimeCE has double billed him. See REFUND.
Case 3. On very rare occasions, depending on the browser type and
version that a student has on their computer, when a student purchases
a course, he may have double clicked on the purchase or
submit button. This will cause a "double bill" on your statement.
I want a REFUND on my purchase because _____________________. We use a service, DigiCert, which is a 3rd party to process credit card information. We pay for DigiCert do this, similar to a contractor's bond which you may be familiar with.
The downside of this is that we can not offer REFUNDS, since we don't have access to your credit card information. That being said, however, there are some ways to even up with you.
Note: Our office does NOT have a 24/7 HELP LINE. It may take some time to credit your account with a course of your choice, be patient, we will get there.
Double Billed or charged twice for the same course. E-mail us and we will credit you with a course of your choice.
Bought the Wrong Course: E-mail us and we will credit you with a course of your choice.
Bought Course in Wrong state: E-mail us and we will credit you with a course of your choice.
Did Not like the course, did not finish it.: E-mail us and we will credit you with a course of your choice.
Did Not like the course, but finished it and got credit for it. Sorry, - we have fulfilled our obligation for your continuing education class.

B.12. How do I get a REFUND on my DEBIT CARD ?
Unfortunately, a Debit transaction is just like a cash transaction. For security reasons, AnytimeCE does not have ability to transfer funds to your account either electronically or by issuing a check.
If you have a legitimate reason for a refund and used a debit card instead of a credit card, we can credit your AnytimeCE account with equivalent courses of your choosing.
C. Registration / LogIn problems.
Why do you want me to use my current license number and how do I get it?
When you finish taking a course, you want to get credit for it at the correct state agency as quickly as possible. The issuing agency tracks your course completion by your unique state or agency issused license number.
If you use anything other than this, when your certificate of completion is automatically sent to the state agency you may not get credit for your course.
Many of the agencies DO NOT correct your license number for you. Therefore it is important that you enter your correct license number for your ID at the time that you register for a course OR package.
If you can not recall your license number, there is a link on the Side Bar on the HOME page for each state for you to use in looking up your current license number.
If for some reason, an incorrect license number was entered in when you registered for a class AnytimeCE will need to manually upload your CEU information to the AHJ.
To cover our costs, there is $25 service charge for this service.

The computer won't let me register for a class. How do I register? If you have taken classes with AnytimeCE in the past and have used your license number, be sure to register as a RETURNING STUDENT.
If you try to register as a NEW STUDENT and use your license number that is already in the data base from a previous course, AnytimeCE's computer is programmed to NOT TO ACCEPT the same license number as a NEW STUDENT a second time.
Again, you will need to register as a RETURNING STUDENT and use your license number and previous password to sign up for additional courses.
Top of the page
AnytimeCE suggests that I use my current license number for my ID. I don't have my license handy, how can I find the correct number?
On the Home Page, SIDE BAR- Left hand side, about half way down is a tab "State Information". All of the states that have accepted AnytimeCE courses for continuing education are shown. Click on the state tab that appears. A License Look-up Link is found on each of the state contact pages.
Please enter your correct license number for your ID when you register for a class to assure that you will get your continuing education credit promptly recognized the by AHJ.
If an incorrect license number is entered when you register, AnytimeCE will need to make a manual correction and upload. AnytimeCE contracts these manual corrections and uploads to a 3rd party, which in turn bill AnytimeCE a $25 Service Fee. This fee will passed on to you.

I have my ID and password but I cannot log in. I keep getting the Log-In page after I click on the submit button or At the Student Log in page, I enter my ID and Password. After click on submitt, the same page appears? What is going on?
You may have the correct password, but may have logged in using the wrong, case (either upper or lower). Our password fields are case sensitive, please enter your password exactly the same way as when you originally created it. Example: if you created your password as: PaSsworD then PASSWORD, PAssWorD, password will not work. You must type in your password EXACTLY as you did when you typed it in your student information form.
Common errors: using an "o" or "O" (as in look or LOOK) instead of a zero "0" (as in 2008)
Using the letter "l" (as in luck) instead of the number "1".
Having letters in "CAPITALS" when they should be in "small or lower case"

I've taken AnytimeCE classes before, but the I can't register to the class that I want to take now. What gives? More than likely, you may be trying to register as a NEW Student. The computer checks the your ID, and has found that this license number is already listed in the data bank and refuses to allow a 2nd account using the same ID to be set up. Go back and register as a RETURNING STUDENT. This should clear it up.
Top of the page
I filled in the student information form, but when I press submit, an error page 404- Page can not be found pops up. What's going on? Sometimes a student may visit AnytimeCE's web site several times before deciding which course is best for them. On a visit, the student's computer saves a temporary file about AnytimeCE web site information in the student's computer internet cache.
When the student returns to AnytimeCE, the first thing that happens is his computer returns to the cached information. AnytimeCE at times does upgrades to the web site. Since your computer is looking at previous or older information, the current pages are not in your cache.
When a link is made from the cache to another page, its not there. The solution is simple. Return to the HOME page, and press F5 at the top of your computer keyboard. This will force your computer to Refresh its entire cache with the latest web pages.

I want to take a on-line class but I do not have a plumber or electrical or hvac license. Can I use my driver license number? Yes you can. However, if you decide to submit your certificate of a completed class to the AHJ, we would recommend also send them a short cover letter explaining what you have done.
AnytimeCE contracts with a 3rd party to correct and upload corrected continuing education rosters to the AHJ. AnytimeCE is billed a $25 SERVICE CHARGE which is passed on to the student.
If you have used an incorrect license number, be sure when you take courses from AnytimeCE in the future, that you register as NEW STUDENT and use your correct license number.

I have several different license numbers in a single state. How do I get credit for each of my licenses?
For EXAMPLE, You have 2 different PLUMBING Licenses in a state and you have taken and completed a course that has been accepted by the Plumbing AHJ. You would get full credit for the course for both of these plumbing licenses.
For EXAMPLE you have a Plumbing License and an Electrical License in the same state. You took a course that as been accepted by the Plumbing AHJ and since it appears that the same course is approved by the Electrical AHJ you would like to get credit for Electrical CEUS.
Even though a course APPEARS to be the same, each course is submitted and reviewed by different AHJs which have different course requirements. This makes each course unique.
A course that is accepted by one AHJ will not be accepted by another AHJ even though both courses appear to be the same.
Because of this, AnytimeCE can not warranty that an approved course by one AHJ will be approved by another AHJ for credit.
If you wish, you may contact the AHJ on your own and submitt your Certificate of Completion for CEU credit. AnytimeCE can not warranty the outcome of this endeavor.

I am able to run your courses on my home computer but cannot run them at the office. What's the problem? Check to make sure your employer is not running a web proxy or has firewall rules that are excluding access to our site. If your employer's system has a web proxy, it will control web access to the Internet. This can block your browser at the office from reaching our server. Either ask you employer to add "www.anytimece.com" to the accepted list, or use your home computer to take our courses.

My computer starts to load the course, but an error message comes up which states to clear the computer cache, and I can't load up the course. What is this? Generally we have found that this message is generated because your available cache has possibly filled up. Please clear out your browser cache before continuing. The following is a step by step procedure to clear your internet cache.
How to Clear the Internet Explorer Cache.
In Internet Explorer, click Tools in the top menu bar option . Select Internet Options.
In the middle of the General tab, click Delete Files in the Temporary Internet files section.
Check the box that opens with the instruction, Delete all off line content.
Click OK in the Delete Files box.
Click OK in the Internet Options box to complete the process.
I'm using AOL, Netscape or another browser and the online course just doesn't seem to load properly as it should. How do I download a better viewing browser?
You can download a great browser for FREE.
Go to www.Firefox.com.

D. 5. It takes forever to download a page. Is there anyway to speed up the download.
If your computer is plugged into a telephone jack you a dial up
connection. Sorry, it does take a long time to download information. We
suggest that you may wish to visit a public library or use a
friend’s computer that has a cable or fiber optic connection. If you
have dial up, we can not help you on this end.
Now, if you don’t have dial up and you have a slow download speed, it may help to turn off all the other programs that you computer may be running at the same time. Ideally, you would want to have just the Internet on with every thing else turned off.
If this does not help, you may want to clean you computer cache.
The final commonly found problem that slows downloads is spy ware that may have been picked up from other web sites. The best way to remove spy ware is do a Google search for free spy ware removal software programs.
Some popular free ones are:

www.spywareterminator.com
www.eradicatespyware.net
D. 6. The course pictures are too small for me to see on my
computer screen, what should I do?
Some times a student will have the screen resolution set to
a value, which compresses the size of the images that are viewed. This
happens when a student has a larger monitor and wants to see everything
on the desktop at one time.
The course is best viewed when the screen resolution is set to 800 x 600 pixels.
To change your screen resolution, simply click with your mouse on any clear spot on the desktop.
A pop up box appears. At the bottom of the box you will find “properties”.
Click on properties and a second pop up box appears. A tab, located on the far left – “settings” appears.
Click on setting. In the left center of the settings tab, one will see a Screen resolution slide bar.
Click and drag the bar to the left to LESS. At 800 x 600, the images
in the course will be their largest size.

E. Quizzes.
How are quizzes conducted? The quizzes are either multiple choice or True / False questions. At times, there may be pictures or graphics on the quizzes.
All quiz answers are found in the web based course material or the properly referenced Code Book.
Be sure to download and print the Quizz questions prior to starting each course. The links to the Quiz Questions are found on the Side Bar on the Home Page and are also found on the 1st page of each course.
Top of the page
Do I receive a test score when grading a quiz? After selecting the answers for each quiz question, you will be given the percentage correct and the number of correct questions / total questions for that quiz.
Top of the page
Why don't you tell me which questions that I got wrong when scoring my quiz? If a student knew exactly which questions were answered incorrectly, then it is possible for him to just click one answer after another until the scored quiz showed that he has guessed correctly.
AnytimeCE and the AHJ feel that "just clicking through" a test to get your answers correct is not the spirit of fulfilling the continuing education requirements.
As a result, AnytimeCE at the encouragement of the AHJ use this safeguard approach.
Top of the page
What happens if I don't pass a quiz? On the quizzes that appear in the graphically illustrated courses, you will be re-routed back to the beginning of the chapter for additional review. On the Code look up courses, you will need to study and review your answers and take the quiz again.
Top of the page
How many times can I take a quiz or test online? Unlimited until the course expires. You will find the expiration date listed in the course description.
Top of the page
What is the minimum passing grade for a quiz? Usually this is 70% unless listed on the course material.
Top of the page
I found an error, or disagree with an answer in the quiz. What do I do? E-mail us this detailed information. All of our staff are Human Beings and occasionally make mistakes. We welcome your set of eyes reviewing and reporting to us any incorrect information that we may have on our web site.
Top of the page
I was taking a quiz, the page went blank and I lost all my answers. Can you recover them for me?
Until the quiz is fully completed and the Score Button clicked, our server has no way of knowing how you answered any of the questions. Occasionally when viewing a web page for an extended time and trying to answer the questions in "real time" the browsers may time out and dump your answers.
Also, any minor power or internet blip may occur and dump your answers. We have suggested, as can be viewed at the being of each course, to download and print all of the questions for a quiz, and answer them on the printed copy as you go through the course.
No, we can not recover your answers on an incomplete quiz.
Top of the page
E.9. How can I get a copy of the quiz questions for each of the courses.
After you purchase a course and log in to start the course, there is a link on the first page of each course that allows you to download and print the course quizzes and other related study materials.
You will also find a link on the SIDE BAR of the HOME page to down load quiz questions.
This is just like taking an open book quiz when you were in school.
The answers to the quiz questions are either found in the "Code" materials that you down load or found when reading each of the web pages in the illustrated courses.
You may need to have a Adobe Acrobat to open up the downloadable quiz questions. You can download it from this secure web site by clicking on the following link . Adobe Reader - Acrobat or by going to their web site: www.adobe.com/products/reader)

F. Finishing, printing out the certificate of completion and contacting the correct agency.

When I downloaded and printed my certificate, my name, the course number or something else was missing. What do I do?
When a student finishes a course with AnytimeCE, there may be a browser incompatibility problem between our server system and the brower that a student is using.
If this is the case, we recommend that a student upgrades his brower by downloading a very good free web browser.
Go to www.Firefox.com.
Top of the page
I looked on my state's web site, and it doesn't show that I
completed the course. What's going on?
There may be several reasons for this.
Time Delay: First of all, there is a time delay of any where from 1 to 20 days after you have completed a course for it to appear your state's web site. Even though AnytimeCE promptly submits class rosters to the AHJ, it may take some time for the information to be uploaded on their end.
Incorrect License Number: A second reason that your CEU information is not showing in your AHJ's data base is that an incorrect license number could have been entered into the student registration form. This is the case, the AHJ DOES NOT correct your license number and you DO NOT recieve acknowledgement of your course completion.
If an incorrect license number is entered when you register, AnytimeCE will need to make a manual correction and upload. AnytimeCE contracts these manual corrections and uploads to a 3rd party, which in turn bill AnytimeCE a $25 Service Fee. This fee will passed on to you.
Top of the page
I misplaced my certificate of completion. How do I get a replacement copy? You can login, return to Status page, and download the certificate of completion again.
Top of the page
My license number is incorrect, how can I fix it?
The license number that was entered when registering for the class(es) is the one that is sent to the AHJ for your continuing education record.
There is a link on the same line as the license fill-in box which provides an easy method to obtain or crosscheck your license number.
Also, AnytimeCE has installed a license checker which alerts the student if the license information (numbers and or letters) that is entered does not have the normal number of characters or the proper sequence of letters or numbers that is typically found for licenses in your state.
However, it is still possible to enter an INCORRECT license number that follows the correct format but is NOT the student's correct license. The license checker is NOT able to alert the student on this. A student also has the option to by-pass these warnings and enter a license nunber of his choosing.
If an incorrect license number was mistakenly used, the student will need to email AnytimeCE with the corrected license and student contact information to: headmaster1@AnytimeCE.com
AnytimeCE uses an automated system of uploading course information to the AHJ, which allows us to keep our costs low and pass the savings directly back to the student in the form of low cost high quality courses.
On occassion, an incorrect license number is used for the student ID.
I can't download my certificate. What do I do? Most of state agencies or AHJ require that AnytimeCE directly contact them with your information when you have successfully completed the course.
In fact, a number of agencies will only accept our information and not your certificate that you submit showing that you have completed your training with us!
Now, even with this information, it is still a good idea to have a copy of your certificate of completion for your own files, or a copy to turn into your employer.
If you have logged in and can not download the certificate of completion, there may be an incompatibility browser problem which may prevent an student from downloading and printing his (her) certificate.
If this is the case, we recommend that a student upgrades his brower by downloading a very good free web browser.
Go to www.Firefox.com.
Top of the page
I have some great ideas for other courses, how do I let AnytimeCE know about these ideas? Please send us your ideas and comments by filling in the feedback form when you download your certificate. We welcome new ideas for courses.
Top of the page
Do I need a printed copy of my certificate when I renew my license? We suggest that you download and print a copy of your Certificate of Completion.
Save it in a safe place for your records. You may want to send in the 2nd copy in with your renewal, but most AHJs only accept completion information that is directly forwarded to them by AnytimeCE.
Top of the page
Can you fax me a copy of my certificate or send me confirmation that you sent it to the proper state agency?
Our systems are automated in reporting your completed course information to the AHJ.
If you would like to have us fax you or the AHJ a copy of your completion certificate we will gladly do so.
Requests for manually faxing Certificates of Completion to a student or to the AHJ is contracted out to a 3rd party.
This subcontractor bills AnytimeCE a $25 service fee which we would pass on to you.
F.14. I bought a course, took it some time afterwards and found that it had expired and the AHJ would NOT count it for my CEUS. What can you do?
On the top line of the course description, one will find the Course Name, number of credit hours, the type of credit and the expiration date of the course.
At the bottom of the description page we have also placed a time to finish the courses, usually 30 days after purchase.
In addition, AnytimeCE emails a reminder to the student to finish the course if it has not been completed within 30 days after purchase. We also include the student's ID and password in the e-mail in the event that the student has forgotten them.
30 days prior to expiration of a course, AnytimeCE pulls the course off the web so that it can no longer be purchased.
At this point, AnytimeCE has made more than the expected efforts to afford a student the availabilty to complete on-line continuing education in a timely and reasonable manner.
We are sorry that the student did not complete the course material prior to expiration even with all of the built in "flags" that have been put into place.
It is unreasonable to expect AnytimeCE to compensate a student with a replacement course(s) at this point.
F.15. I can not print my certificate using Adobe Acrobat. What should I do? There appears to be some printing problems if a student is using Adobe Acrobat 9.0. Download versions 9.1 or later and to print your certificate. This usually solves the problem.
You can download it from this secure web site by clicking on the following link. Adobe Reader - Acrobat
